famous Dig Tree on the Cooper Creek (2009).

In 2010 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Burke & Wills expedition which was first to cross the continent Jonathan is also organizing a group of environmentalists to travel along the same 1860 track starting from Melbourne on the 150th anniversary of the original departure, 21 August 2010, to cross the continent on foot with camels on some parts of the track and and 4WD support vehicles in order to report on environmental damage over the last 150 years and recommend remedial action. If you would like to apply to join this expedition please see the Future Projects section and also contact Jonathan through the contact section on this website.
